Prairie Custom Guitars

After I finished the Fircaster I found some more wood from that old barn that had some wonderful straight grain.I had to build another one(because the kid decided to claim the first one)

I wanted to do a natural Nitro finish on this one.The original Fircaster had a poly finish.I just wanted to do this one in the original style finish.

It turned out so well I decided to go with no guard to show off the wood 

The wood I used was not thick enough to use by itself so I had to add a cap to the top and back.The contrasting grain I think looks really cool

Much better.I will take some pics later today and add them to the gallery

After it was all finished I figured it just looked to plain without a guard

So I decided to turn it into an Esquire
