Well today I am going to add some more clear

Have to look after the kid so I will probably work on the headstock logo

Got to figure out the script for the headstock

Well had to sand out a hair

I will let it sit over night because it is raining out

Don't need that high humidity when I am putting on the clearcoat

Well I put a coat on last night

Another just now when I got home from work

If all goes well I will get one more on before I go to bed

Going to let it sit tonight.Pretty high humidity.They are calling for snow for the next 4 days.I will check it tomorrow night,see if it needs any sanding,if not,more clear

Well put one coat on last night.Let it cure for an hour or so,went to put on the

next one and guess what.A HAIR !!!!!

No big deal.I will sand it out this afternoon and then carry on 

Got that hair out

Give her a nice heavy coat tonight.Might actually do it

I will see how she looks tomorrow

 Took a good look at it tonight
Looks pretty good.I will let it sit one more day and give it a light wet sanding

If all looks good,it gets to rest for a couple weeks

 Tonight was the night.Got at it with some 600 wet sanding

I'm a thinking we are done.Now it just has to cure

It will hang in the corner curing while we wait for the neck and pickups

to arrive.Guess I better get that bridge ordered

Done,finished,complete

There are a couple very small spots that I could do some more on

When does one stop.Don't think I could ever get it to the stage I would call it perfect

Also got an e-mail from Kinman

Pickups are on the way

Well,the neck is on the way too

It will be shipped Monday

 Of course the guard has to be cut for the f-hole

Almost think a single ply black guard may be in order

I guess thats up to Barney.Just seems as the white on the 3 ply

takes away from the binding,hmmmmm 

Thats not the bridge thats going on either

It should be here Monday

They are finally available

Then it's time to find some neck bolts

Guess I can start polishing out the body now

Everything else is here,ready to go on

Now we just have to figure out what to put on the headstock

It will take a week or so to get that installed

She's coming together now
