The Finish

Well after a smoke,more looking and thinking

A prayer or two

Decided to lay down the first coat

Hope you like it

Lets hang it up and have a good look

 I think we did OK

No runs,can't see any missed glue 

 I'm Happy

Well Barney,what you think?

I will give it another coat before I go to bed

 Well I did another couple coats tonight.Didn't bother with any pics.

Looks about the same.I will post some more pics after a few more coats

Just put another coat on before supper(dinner to some) 5:30p.m

Wow not even any hairs to sand out

I will do another coat in a couple hours and another before bed

Well got #3 on for today

I see we have a hair growing out of the back

No big deal.I will let it cure a day and lightly wetsand it out.

I took a couple more pics.Hope these show the color and

grain better,they are higher resolution so it will take

longer for them to load.

You got to love ash,even with all the grain filling,you can still see the grain in the finish

It will get level with wetsanding.Makes you wonder how much it would

suck up if it wasn't filled

 Well I just did some messin around tonight after I got rid of the hair

Just give it a good level wetsanding
