He also makes vintage spec Humbuckers that will give you about any HB sound you could ask for. With today's high gain amps and effects, it is unnecessary to wind a pickup ridiculously hot. A Tex-Tone handmade humbucker wound between 8k and 10k will give you sweet, clean sounds that sound every bit as good as it does running through the lead channel of your Dual Rectifier. It will also turn your guitar's volume and tone controls into tone shaping tools instead of just another on/off switch.
