This build will be a T-Style made of pine
For some reason, pine is really hard to get here in Canada
Even harder here on the prairies.
However I got some sent to me from Eastern Canada so we are set
I received the pine during the holidays so it sat in the corner waiting
Now this was bought as kiln dried, but a few problems showed up

Needless to say I was quite disappointed when I went to use it
As was the person that sent it to me
He was assured it was kiln dried.Maybe it just didn't like the 10 day
postage ride in -35* weather,oh well
Anyway I decided to see what I could do with it
There was no way to salvage a 2 piece blank so I decided to make a 3 piece
I offset the grain to make it more stable and glued it up
WOW THIS STUFF IS SOFT
After working with ash, alder and mahogany, this stuff is like butter
Anyway I skipped all the routing pics, lots of them on the other pages
And I ended up with this

Because this stuff is so soft, and I was shooting sealer on some other bodies
I decided to give this a coat, just to help protect it for now

After a couple more coats of sealer it's time for some routing
Should look ok after the blond finish

Before I go any farther better get the rest of the holes drilled
Ferrule holes and output jack hole

After one more coat of sealer,it's time to turn this into a blond
They have more fun you know
First Attempt
Not too bad, just a little bumpy.Time to get a filter on my air line!

After it dried,a little sanding and another coat

Gettin close
One more should do it
