Lets try to get this thing smooth.

Since everybody wants to see a clear glossy finish,it's going to be tough

Some 180 and 220 grit to get it as smooth as we can

Now we will try some water based sealer

Try to get it sealed up so we can get it smooth.This is a high solids

high build sanding sealer so lets see how it works

First coat,wait a couple minutes and recoat

Man this thing is like a sponge

The edges are going to be the tough thing to seal up

Just been trying to get this thing sealed up and smooth

No small feat

Lots of spraying and sanding

Another round of sealer and sanding

This might be a cool project but there is a lot of work to

do to this stuff to get it ready for finish 

 Decided to try a OSB guard

Did some slicing and dicing and this is how it looks

 Did some sanding and a bit of polishing to

see if I needed more lacquer,hmmmm

 Actually looks pretty good
