Time to start another build

This one is swamp ash also

Going to be a double bound blond 

Got some nice light swamp ash and picked out a couple blanks that go well together

Made sure the end grain was offset

I skipped the photos of the glue-up.Here is the cut out body

Time to get some grain filled and sealed before I do the binding

 Lets check the neck fit...Looks pretty good

Because Ian wants the grain to show through the blond finish

I decided to fill the grain with black tinted filler 

Now with the grain filled and it sealed it is time to start the binding

First I route the channels

Now to get everything ready(beer included )
