I just happened to get a good deal on a custom made guitar neck on ebay

I wasn't sure what the quality would be like because I got it real cheap

I was very pleased when it arrived,a real nice neck,EXCEPT

I don't like the headstock shape

 We best make it look like a tele

First I took a pencil and outlined the shape

Then off to the bandsaw

Then over to the belt sanders

Then a little contouring and I think it will pass

 I didn't realize when I bought it that it has a strat heel on it.I don't think it will be a problem.

Nothing a little sanding won't fix

Got all the sanding finished.I need this neck for the gray T build

so I figured I better get after it.

I went over the entire thing with 320 grit and then give it a shot

of satin spray poly

I was very pleased.This stuff give it a real nice tint

And it's only $4.50 a can
