Well you have to admit P90's have a sound all their own
The only thing cooler than a tele is a twin P90 tele
Then add a chambered Honduras Mahogany back and a cedar top!!!
This body is destined for a new home in Texas
Lets get to it!!!
First things first, lets get that top glued up

The back started out as a one piece 8/4" chunk of mahogany

Traced out the shape and then rough cut it on the band saw

Then some routing and sanding and we lookin good!!
This is going to bet a half bridge because of the bridge P90
Had to do some figuring to find out just where to put the rear pickup route

Notice the critter tracks!!
They will be covered by the cedar top
Now it is time for the chambers. We want to get this pretty light
This mahogany is pretty dense stuff so we need to get rid of a bunch

Now rough cut out the top

Lets see where we sit
In the words of JJ Walker....LOOKIN GOOD!!
Time to get the top on and trimmed up
Some sanding on the back
Seems the guitar fairy pooped out twins!!!
That body will be another page
Now some drilling and routing

Now cedar is pretty soft and brittle. We will need some binding to protect the edge

Now do the ferrule holes

Now pickup and control cavities
Fit a nice rosewood neck
Unfortunately just like kids you have to say goodbye
I would love to keep them all but.......
I do not have to do any finish on this one.The new owner is going to
finish it with TruOil and wants to do it himself
Just a couple more pics to remember her by
